Mothers Day Party

Well I had my much anticipated Mothers Day party on the 5th March and it was a great success!! I was so pleased, about 15 people came and I took multiple orders and sold stock on the night. I sold all my aprons and took orders for more and my smallest bag was nominated to be a wine bag! Brilliant idea so I sold all of those bags and took orders for lots more! The cosmetics bags were very popular and people reaaly liked the heart wreaths.

So a big thank you to everyone that came!

Aprons

Well, I was going to have a rest today as I have had tonsillitis this week. However after spending some of the night designing an apron in my head yet again my sewing machine was calling!

I am very pleased with myself and love this apron.

I'm back!!

Well, I have to apologise for being a complete rubbish blogger things have been a bit hectic. I have been working hard on some new designs for my Mothers day products as shown in the new pictures.

I love this, obviously I had a few tips from my friend Pam!

I made this on request for my friend Karen from Kingscliffe Bakery and I loved it so I am making more of these.

These lovely little bags are really cute and versatile. They can be used as just handbags or even a trendy lunch box!

I have already sold a couple of sets of these cute little purses. They are perfect for carrying cosmetics, jewellery or even those bits and pieces that float around in the bottom of your handbag, I should probably make myself a set!

Another of the glasses cases.

Well that's about it for now, I need to put my nose to the sewing machine again so break over!!

I'll see you all again soon

A good start!

Well I have spent most of my day at one of my favourite places.........ART & STITCH!! I took in the pattern for the little bags I was trying to decipher and as I was reading it out to Barbara the penny dropped! In the end after the usual fun and innuendo filled day I managed to make three sets which consist of a small bag and an even smaller bag to put inside. I was very pleased and am ready to make lots more and the ideas just keep coming so watch this space!!
And here is a set I made earlier!!

I can't wait to make some more so until then It's bye for now,

Project Mothers Day

Well, I have decided that my next best project to work on is Mothers Day. I am working on some little purses which are quite sweet, or will be when I've worked out the pattern. I also thought about some small bags, embellished cushions and even some special aprons designed for    giving as a gift for that special day. Any other suggestions would be gratefully received, Yellow Rose is always open to these!

Well I shall get back to brainstorming and will update you soon!

Cheerio,

Lisa
